The Carpentry and Joinery Level 3 Diploma is designed to further develop the skills and knowledge of people, enabling them to work to an advanced level in the industry in their chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions.

- Unit 201/601 - Health, safety and welfare in construction
- Unit 201 - Carry out first fix flooring and roofing
- Unit 209 - Carry out second fixing operations
- Unit 301/701 - Principles of organizing, planning and pricing construction work
- Unit 306 - Carry out first fix roofing and stairs
- Unit 307 - Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings
- Unit 308 - Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery

Entry Guidelines
Level 3 courses are usually 2 years in length.
- If you have a level 2 qualification in the subject you want to study and a maths or English GCSE at Grade 4 (or functional skill level 2) you can study at this level.
- Entry requirements for Level 3 courses in some sectors may be more specific. If you're unsure whether you meet these requirements, don't worry — we can help you find a suitable course that aligns with your skills and experience.

Where can I progress to?
NVQ level 2/3 in Wood Occupations (if you gain employment). BTEC National/Higher National Certificate Construction.

Equipment Required
To learn effectively on your course you will need to use certain items of equipment and undertake particular activities as part of your studies. To further enhance your learning experience the following will be required:
