Funding and Financial Support

At Wirral Met College, we don’t want money to be a barrier to your education. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to get support with essential costs like equipment, uniforms, meals, and transport.

If you're aged 16–18, or up to 24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), your course is fully funded. Many adult learners can also study for free, depending on their eligibility.

For those on higher education programmes, a range of financial support options are available, including student loans and bursaries to help with tuition and living costs.

We’re here to help you access the support you need - so you can focus on your future.
