This course covers advanced plumbing and provides an introduction to design and gas principles.

    The course contains the following units:

    • Unit 201 Health and Safety in building services engineering
    • Unit 301 Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems
    • Unit 302 Design assessment
    • Unit 303 Complex cold water systems
    • Unit 304 Complex hot water systems
    • Unit 306 Complex central heating systems
    • Unit 307 Domestic gas principles
  • Entry Guidelines

    • Level 3 courses are usually 2 years in length.
    • If you have a level 2 qualification in the subject you want to study and a maths GCSE at Grade 4 (or functional skill level 2) to study at this level.
    • Entry requirements for Level 3 courses in some sectors may be more specific. If you're unsure whether you meet these requirements, don't worry — we can help you find a suitable course that aligns with your skills and experience.
