This qualification will focus is on enhancing the learners' awareness of Mental Health.
Throughout the qualification, participants will delve into the terminology, understand impacts, and explore legislation related to Mental Health.
Learners will also gain insight into maintaining their own Mental Health.
The overarching goal of this qualification is to empower participants with the vital knowledge and essential skills required to engage comprehensively with the subject of Mental Health.

Course Details
Learners will study one unit at L2: Mental Health Awareness.
This unit is about developing the learner's awareness of Mental Health. The learner will understand terminology, impacts and legislation around Mental Health. They will know how to maintain their own Mental Health and where to get help -
Entry Guidelines
You must be 19 or over on or before 31st August to study on this course. Applicants may be considered on their individual skills and experience.
You do not need formal qualifications for this course. However, you must be able to read and write clearly, interpret tasks, be willing to work independently, produce answers in a legible and understandable form and organise information clearly and coherently.

This is a one-day course. Applicants can choose from either of the following dates:

Learners should expect to at our Hamilton site for the full day.
Study comprises of five hours of learning over one day, plus breaks.

Assessment of this unit is through a multiple-choice knowledge test on
the NOCN test platform.
