  • Where can I progress to?

    Learners can progress to other sector-related courses, such as Award in Mental Health Awareness L2, Award in Awareness of Safeguarding and Prevent L2, Introduction to Counselling, L2 Psychology, L2 Criminology, and Pre-Access. Courses are subject to interview and offer.

  • Timetable

    This course will be held on Thursday evenings, 5:45PM - 9PM, at Hamilton Campus and runs for 6 consecutive weeks.

    This qualification is assessed via an internally assessed and externally quality assured portfolio of evidence.

  • Can I study for free?

    You may be able to study for free if this course will help improve your employment prospects. You could be eligible if you are:

    • Employed and earning below: £35,864.40 (if you live in the Liverpool City Region; Wirral, Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens or Halton)
    • £25,750 (if you live outside the Liverpool City Region)
    • Employed and receiving certain state benefits Unemployed (with or without benefits)

    Asylum seekers can access free courses up to Level 2 if the course supports long-term employment Terms and Conditions apply.
