There’s no better time to take that first step toward something new. At Wirral Met College, our free* short courses for adults (19+) are designed to help you build confidence and learn practical skills that can complement your employability.

Can I study for free?

Many adults may be eligible to study courses for free. To find out if you qualify, check the “Can I study for free?” section on the course you’re interested in, or visit our Adult Funding page for more detailed information and guidance.

Full-time adult courses

Can’t find the course you’re looking for? Don’t worry – you may still be able to study with us.
We offer a wider range of full-time courses, and adults aged 19+ are welcome to apply to study the main qualification. We consider all applications on a case-by-case basis to make sure the course is the right fit for you.
