Newly-qualified electricians may earn between £19,000 and £22,000 a year. With experience, this can rise to between £23,000 and £30,000. Starting salaries for electrical engineers are between £21,000 and £25,000 per year and experienced engineers can earn between £25,000 and £40,000 a year.
