Vacancy Description:
Jpl Flavour Technologies are looking for a QC technician to join their Qc department . This role in the QC department will include analysing raw materials, intermediates and finished products against internal and external specifications.
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Carrying out the analysis of intermediate and finished products, including tests such as specific gravity, refractive index, flash point, bulk density or moisture content.
- Interpreting results of analysis and recording data.
- Handling the booking of goods-in raw materials.
- Use of in-house spreadsheets and databases.
- Issuing documentation for products: certificates of analysis, specifications, safety data sheets, etc.
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Ensuring the QC laboratory is well organised, and samples are stored according to their specification guidance.
- Applying expertise and a systematic approach to problem solving.

Training to be provided:
Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship Standard qualification, including:

Weekly hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, or 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Annual wage:£14,526.20 to £23,492.04 a year
