Would you like to begin a career in the exciting hairdressing and barbering sector? Do you enjoy learning in a practical way? If so, this could be the perfect course for you! This course has been designed to immerse you in this exciting and glamorous growing industry, allowing you to develop the key skills and knowledge to move onto the next level of study.
The course will include the underpinning knowledge and skills to enable you to:
- Styling hair
- Cutting hair
- Colouring hair
- Competitions
- Reception
During the course you will be expected to attend National shows and
exhibitions where you can see demonstrations by some of the countries leading
Hairdressers. Once a year we hold a college show and you will be expected to
participate.

Wednesday 10:30-14:00
Friday 09:30-13:00
16-18 learners will need GCSE's Maths and English at Grade 4 (or Functional Skill level 2) to study at this programme. Adult learners will need 4 GCSE's at Grade 3 or above. One of the 4 GCSE's to be Maths or English at Grade 3 (or Functional Skill level 1) to study at this level. Entry requirements for Level 2 courses in some sectors may be more specific. If you're unsure whether you meet these requirements, don't worry — we can help you find a suitable course that aligns with your skills and experience.
