Course Details

This course is for students who want to progress into a career in the Animal Nursing/Care sector, with a focus on knowledge, skills and behaviours specific to your future study and jobs You will have the opportunity to take part in practical activities to develop hands-on experience.

Entry Guidelines

This is a Study Programme for students who are 16-18 years of age. You will need 4 GCSE's at Grade 3 or above.

A grade 4 will be needed in both English Language and Science to study at this level. Entry requirements for Level 2 courses in some sectors may be more specific.

If you're unsure whether you meet these requirements, don't worry — we can help you find a suitable course that aligns with your skills and experience.

Equipment Required

Uniform will be required, and this will be discussed at our Admissions Events, Open Evenings and when you enrol.

Assessment Method

Assessment for this course includes a combination of practical demonstrations, written assignments, and external examinations. You will also complete work-based projects to apply your learning in real-world settings.
