Graphic Designers’ salaries start at around £14,000 to £17,000 per year and experienced senior Graphic Designers can earn between £32,000 and £50,000 per year. Starting salaries for Junior Interior Designers are around £18,000 and experienced Interior Designers can earn around £24,000 to £40,000 per year.
You can progress into employment or continue into Higher Education. If you continue with a degree course such as the BA (Hons) Fine Art or the BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation at Wirral Met College, these courses are validated by the University of Chester.
Where are they now?
Anthony studied art and design at Wirral Met and is now a self-employed professional artist. He started his career working within the magazine publishing industry as a graphic artist/Illustrator until becoming an artist. His clients include Bloomingdales, the BBC and Anthony was the merchandise and brand manager of ‘The Beatles Story’. He is currently completing artwork that will be used in the new development of Lime Street.
