Deanna Robinson recently won the Johnstone's Young Painter of the Year Competition 2019, North West heat!
Whilst studying Level 2 Painting and Decorating at Wirral Met, Deanna works as an apprentice with local painting contractor company, Whittle Hankinson.
The competition was held at Hugh Baird College on Tuesday 14th May. Deanna had to set out and paint the design freehand over the course of seven hours and was awarded a cheque for £200 and a tool kit sponsored by Tesa Tapes.
What a fantastic achievement and we wish the best of luck to Deanna, who will continue to represent the college and Whittle’s in the national final held in November!
