Wirral Met has appointed a new Student Governor for the next academic year, Mike Taylor.
Mike joined Wirral Met in 2018 and studies the BTEC Outdoor Adventure Sport level 3 Diploma at the Oval Campus.
Student Governors attend meetings of the College Board of Governors to reflect the views of students at the College’s highest decision making level. We value the input from all students and in his role Mike will be able to give students' input and opinions on projects, initiatives and strategy before they are put into practice.
Mike said: "The reason why I wanted to take on the Student Governor role was to make change and to do things that would benefit the College and the community for a longer period of time after I leave.
"I hope to be involved in changes that will continue to benefit students many years down the line."
