Last week, students from Hospitality and Hair & Beauty celebrated at our Met At The Square restaurant, after the completion of a Halloween themed competition.
Before the event, students had to complete tasks unique to their course area, requiring them to work within a budget and create a final product.
Hospitality students were required to create recipes for a three-course meal as well as three suitable canapés and a bread product of their choice, all within a budget of £10! For Hair & Beauty, students had to create Halloween inspired looks, and plan and budget everything from start to finish.
The event celebrated the end of the competition, with recreations of the winning dishes being served throughout the night and displays of successful Hair & Beauty students being shown across the walls and TV screens in the restaurant.
