Vacancy Description:
Moreton and Meols Primary Care Network is looking to recruit an outgoing Apprentice Administrator to assist with the day to day running of the PCN, such as appointment booking, data analysis and much more.
What will the apprentice be doing?
- To receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitate timely and appropriate communications with others, taking messages and dealing with appropriate queries
- As required to attend meetings
- Respond to patient enquiries regarding test results and book any follow-up appointments as necessary
- Raise ICE for patients requiring blood tests etc to assist with PCN Lead clinics
- Assisting with the delivery of Domiciliary phlebotomy appointment, by printing blood labels and clinic lists for staff
- Be responsible for minuting monthly PCN meetings and ensure action logs are kept up to date and minutes are sent to the relevant people in a timely manner
- Maintaining/creating spreadsheets using Excel
- Update/maintain folders on the clinical system
- Run monthly searches on EMIS to assist with identifying patients eligible for PCN services

Training to be provided:
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, including:
- Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours

Weekly hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday,9am-5pm
Annual wage: £17,316
