The Birches Restaurant offers exceptional quality and value for money, with freshly prepared meals, a fully licensed bar and speciality coffees. The restaurant caters for private functions, including birthday parties, anniversary meals or corporate events.
This year the restaurant is open Friday lunch, during term time and all visitors are required to sign in at reception prior to visiting the Birches. Reservations can be made between the hours of 10am and 12 noon, Wednesday to Friday – simply call 0151 551 7147 / 7108.

Christmas lunch is priced at £14.50 for 3 courses and coffee and served at 12 noon on the following dates:
- December 3rd, 4th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 16th and 17th.
Christmas dinner is priced at £18.50 for 3 courses and coffee and served at 6.30pm on Thursday 5th and 12th December. Reservations can be made by calling 0151 551 7147. Full, non-refundable payment and pre-order is required for Christmas reservations.
Theme evenings calendar
Our popular Thursday theme evenings commence on Thursday 26th September and are priced at £16.50 for 3 courses. The restaurant will open from 6.15pm for pre-dinner drinks; last reservation is 7.00pm. A £5 per head, non-refundable deposit is required to secure all reservations for Theme evenings.
