This course will provide basic conversation practice for useful situations such as ordering food, booking excursions and simple directions. It will include information on Spanish culture and an overview of the Spanish language compared to English.

Entry guidelines

No previous knowledge of Spanish is expected.

Equipment Required

None but a bilingual dictionary app on a mobile phone would be useful.

Assessment Method

Teacher assessments will be informal and enable students to make choices regarding progression.

It may be possible to progress to an Entry level, Level 1 or Level 2 certificate through ABC Awards.
