This course provides skills and experience for those wanting to assist in the leading and training of expedition groups under the direct supervision of a qualified Expedition Leader.
The course involves the development of a number of skills including:
- Group management
- Navigation
- Camp Craft
- Planning and preparation
Relevant Entry Level qualification or 3GCSEs at Grade 2/E or above.
You will need the ability to carry out physically demanding practical work in a variety of weather conditions.
Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.
