This short 5 week course is designed for those who wish to deepen their technical cooking skills in relation to plant based and vegetarian cuisine. Whether you are seeking an insight into vegan chef training or simply looking to develop a wider repertoire of vegan and vegetarian recipes then this could be the course for you.

Course Details

Our chef/lecturers will demonstrate a range of recipes with instructions relating to the best use of vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, grains and pulses, and over the 5 weeks you will: • Learn how to use seasonal vegetables in imaginative ways • Work with vegan ingredients to produced well balanced savoury dishes • Become familiar with dairy alternatives when cooking vegan dishes (including sauces) • Create delicious cakes and puddings

Entry Guidelines

No formal qualifications required. Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.

Equipment Required

Solid, hard-wearing flat shoes/apron/container to transport finished goods home

Assessment Method

There will be no formal assessment and our chefs will simply provide you with constructive feedback and guidance on how you could improve your finished dishes.

Additional Information

No formal entry requirements. This course is suitable for all levels of abilty. The cost of the course covers all ingredients.
