The increasing popularity of TV shows such as the Great British Bake Off has created a new passion for all things chocolate! If you enjoy baking and/or making desserts and want to learn how to produce a range of delicious chocolate products and treats in time for Christmas then this is the course for you!
During the course, our talented chef/lecturers will demonstrate and then teach you how to work with chocolate to provide you with the skills needed to produce a range of specialist chocolate products included moulded chocolate, dipped chocolate, truffles and chocolate decorations culminating in a Christmas chocolate showpiece!
No formal qualifications required. Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference. If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144.
Solid, hard-wearing flat shoes/apron/container to transport finished goods home.
There will be no formal assessment and our chefs will simply provide you with constructive feedback and guidance on how you could improve your finished chocolate products
No formal entry requirements. This course is suitable for all levels of ability. The cost of the course covers all ingredients.
