Hairdressing Refresher Colouring Course - G097

This course is offered to qualified hairdressers at L2/L3 who need to improve their skills, techniques and confidence due to a gap in employment. There will be an opportunity to practice and redefine skills and techniques to provide the opportunity to re-enter the world of employment.

Course Details

The course will take you through colour techniques over a 6-week period using up to date Wella techniques and products. We will discuss colour knowledge, foiling techniques and colour placement. The practical elements will be delivered in our industry standard salons. Please note: clients will have to pay for the products used during service.

Entry Guidelines

Relevant Level 1 qualification or minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade 3/D or above. Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference. Relevant Level 2 qualification at Pass or above or minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade A*-C (Grade 4 or above).

Are you aged 16-18? Study programmes are full-time courses for 16-18 year olds which include: • A qualification such as BTEC Extended Diploma • Meaningful work experience or preparation for work • English and maths, if you don't already have GCSE grade A*-C in english and maths (grade 4 and above) • Non-study activities such as tutorials, voluntary work, fund-raising/charity work, sport or trips.

This course is FREE if you are - aged 19+ and live in the Liverpool City Region. If you are aged 19+ and live outside the Liverpool City Region, you are unemployed/in receipt of eligible benefits, or in work earning less than £17,004 annual gross salary, or you are aged 19-23 and have not already achieved a full level 2 qualification, this course is FREE.
