The course leads to a OCN Level 2 course in Community Interpreting
The course will give you an introduction to interpreting skills including techniques and code of practice. You will also focus on specific vocabulary fields relating to interpreting and do a lot of role play on the course. You will combine this with a unit on developing interpersonal skills.
The course is open to applicants with very good knowledge of two languages e.g. ESOL level 2 or above or fluency in another language at A level.
Satisfactory interview, assessment and/or satisfactory reference.
