This course will help you to carry out basic maintenance procedures on your vehicle

Course Details

The basic maintenance procedures that the course will cover includes wheel change, bulb replacement, fluid top ups, oil checks, wiper blade change etc

Entry Guidelines

No formal qualifications are required.

If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144.

Equipment Required

Steel toe capped shoes or boots are recommended. Practical, warm clothing for a workshop environment.

Assessment Method

Observation and practical assessments. You will have the opportunity to take a test at the end of the course, if you wish, to gain a Wirral Met certificate.
