This course will introduce participants to the use of social media for business, to give an insight into the use of different platforms to increase your customer base, promote promotional opportunities and support existing customers effectively.
Participants on the course will gain into the use of social media use to support their business development in the online world. Participants will be involved in discussions about other companies use of social media, highlighting good practice and pitfalls when using social media platforms in a business setting. Participants will have the opportunity to develop at least one social media platform for their own company during the course, with the support of their teacher.
No formal qualifications required. Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference. If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144.
Access to Wifi and digital device outside college, to develop your own social media presence for business.
A written assignment and in-class questions.
