The purpose of the course is to develop key digital support skills to maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, digital communications and digital information systems.
The course covers a broad range of technical skills, including:
- Digital technologies
- Data management
- Digital security
- Information management systems
- Digital learning
- Organisational policies and standards
- Thinking skills and problem solving
- Business and decision-making skills
- Continuous improvement
- Work environment
At least 5 GCSEs (grade 4 or above) or equivalent relevant qualifications at Level 2, including grade 4s in GCSE English and Maths.
Wifi and access to a PC or laptop.
An e-portfolio of evidence: including written and verbal assessments, short answer questions, tests, video evidence and any other assessments relevant to the skill or knowledge being checked. Each apprentice will also have to complete and pass an End Point Assessment, which fully assesses the skills and capabilities you have developed throughout your apprenticeship.
