You will be encouraged to design their own jewellery and will work with a range of materials including silver, gold, copper, titanium, porcelain, silver clay and polymer clay. Beginners are welcome to apply as well as those with previous jewellery making experience.
This is a mixed ability course teaching students a range of jewellery skills including:
- Piercing
- Shaping
- Forming
- Soldering
- Stone setting
- Forging
- Working with mixed media
- Patination
- Etching
You can work in silver or copper and when selecting stones you can choose from a wide range of prices.
Relevant Entry Level qualification or 3GCSEs at Grade 2/E or above. Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.
