The purpose of the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Management Skills and Knowledge is to provide the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work as a team leader/supervisor. This qualification has been aligned to the Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship standard and could be used to support delivery of the apprenticeship.

Course Details

The objectives of this qualification are to help learners to:

  • Focus on the study of management within different occupational areas
  • Demonstrate the skills, knowledge and behaviours they will need to operate as a successful team leader/supervisor
  • Develop skills and knowledge in a range of areas relevant to their role, such as leading and managing people, building relationships and communication, operational and project management, finance and personal effectiveness.
Entry Guidelines
Relevant Level 2 qualification at Pass or above or minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade A*-C (Grade 4 or above). If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144.

Continuous assessment of evidence produced.

Successful learners may progress to a range of qualifications including the following:

  • ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management l3
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
