This apprenticeship is designed for applicants who are in paid employment within Accounting, to achieve the theory and practical elements of the qualifications which recognise the skills they gain in the workplace.
Whether you want to become a fully-fledged Accountant or an Accounts Technician, this programme will provide you with an excellent foundation. The Accountancy Apprenticeship (level 2 ) will be suitable for employment in the following roles:-
- Accounts Clerk
- Credit Control Clerk
- Finance Assistant
- Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Sales Ledger Clerk
- EITHER the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting (Combined Competence and Knowledge Elements) OR the Level 2 Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting
- Functional Skill in Mathematics at Level 1
- Functional Skill in English at Level 1
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
Apprentices must be in paid employment of at least 30 hours a week. Candidates who already have a qualification at Level 4 or higher are not eligible.
