Are you interested in beginning a new and exciting career pathway, or perhaps developing your skills further with an accountancy course? Our AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting will prepare you for junior and entry level roles in the accounting sector and will provide you with a firm knowledge of financial administration and processes. You will learn crucial skills such as how to record financial transactions using double entry bookkeeping, how to make journal adjustments, how to understand basic costing principles, and how to use accounting software.

Unit 1: Bookkeeping Transactions Unit 2: Bookkeeping Controls Unit 3: Elements of Costing Unit 4: Using Accounting Software Unit 5: Work effectively in Finance

In addition to the above, we will also facilitiate a synoptic revision workshop so that you are fully prepared for the synoptic assessment.

Entry Guidelines

Relevant Level 1 qualification or 3 GCSEs at Grade 3/D or above. In some cases, applicants may be considered on their individual skills and experience. Satisfactory interview, assessment and satisfactory reference.

Where can I progress to?
Once completed you can then progress to complete AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting L3 — we currently have two options available — D049 which is a 36 week course duration, or D063 which is a 22 week course duration.
