The purpose of this qualification is to develop your practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable you to provide shaping and colouring treatments for the eyelashes and eyebrows. Please note that it is mandatory to complete awarding body COVID19 qualifications whilst studying a VTCT course. The exam registration fee is approximately £20,
This qualification has been designed to develop your skills in shaping (tweezers) and colouring (tinting eyelashes and eyebrows). You will learn how to maintain the original eyebrow shape or to change the shape of the eyebrow. You will also learn about different colour characteristics and the chemical process of tinting.
There are no formal qualification for this course but you will need:
- Skills for fine work e.g. accurate use of equipment e.g. tweezers
- To be prepared to give and receive treatments to/from other students on your course
- An ability to communicate one to one e.g. tutor or client and in a group as part of discussions
- A satisfactory interview, assessment and reference

Office use only. Non Standard 21.6.You will need to wear a uniform which consists of black tailored trousers (no leggings or jeans) and black T-shirt. You must wear all black closed in shoes. Lash and brow tinting kits which will cost approximately £50.63. Details will be given at interview.
You will be assessed via observed work, witness statements, written and oral questions and an external award paper. You will need to provide your own models for assessment.
This is an adult only course.
You can progress to L2 and L3 Beauty Therapy.
