This is an internationally recognised professional course which will give you the skills to excel in a wide range of accounting and finance processes. The course covers both Level 2 and Level 3 elements.
With the Foundation Certificate you will start to develop your skills in double entry bookkeeping and gain an understanding of management and administrative processes. You will learn about:
- Basic costing principles
- How to use manual and computerised accounting systems
- How to work with purchases, sales and general ledgers
With the Advanced Diploma you will be introduced to more advanced bookkeeping and final accounts preparation. You will learn:
- Costing aspects of management accounting
- Professional ethics for accountants
- How to prepare VAT returns
- How to use financial spreadsheets
This course is for students aged 16 — 18.
3 GCSEs with a minimum of C grades (Grade 4 or above) in mathematics and English or OCR level 1 Bookkeeping.

This course is assessed by computer based assessment and by computer based project work.

Starts 03rd Sep 2018 - Ends 21st Dec 2019
If you are aged 16-18:
This study programme will be FREE for most students who are aged 16-18 on 31 August, or students aged 19-24 with an Education, Health & Care Plan.
If you are aged 19 or over:
