Traineeships Information Session - Healthcare/Admin

Aged 16-24? Come along to our Traineeship information session on Wednesday 18th September to find out more about opportunities as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) and administration. Meet in reception at 9.30am at the Clinical Sciences Building.

Traineeships are designed to help young people gain the neccessary work skills and experience to progress to an apprenticeship or job including customer service skills and basic health and safety in the workplace. They are a partnership between the employer and the college and involve high quality work experience, English, maths and a period of work preparation training such as developing interpersonal skills, CVs, job search and interview skills. 

You will be eligible if you:

• want to get a job and you have limited work experience
• are aged 16-24 and not yet achieved a full level 3 qualification (you can have up to 1 A Level)
• unemployed (not working more than 16 hours a week)
• you have a reasonable chance of being ready for employment or an apprenticeship within six months of starting your traineeship
