The qualification is intended to give learners a solid base from which to further develop their skills and learning for a career in the Travel, Tourism and Aviation industry.

Course details

The qualification is intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners. Students can gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area of Travel, Tourism or Aviation with a 'hands on' approach to their learning.
Units include:

  • Planning and taking part in a visit
  • Improving own confidence
  • Working in a team
  • Problem solving skills for work
  • Displaying Travel and Tourism information
Entry guidelines

No formal qualifications are required.

Satisfactory interview, assessment, school report and/or satisfactory reference.

If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144.

Equipment Required

Uniform. Details will be discussed during your interview.

Assessment Method

Practical, worksheets, role plays.
