It was an absolute delight this week, to see one of our successful students receive an award at the Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Rosie Jones, pictured, started as one of our apprentices as an administrator within the HR department of the hospital. Rosie successfully completed her apprenticeship but fell in love with the idea of a career as a midwife. After completing a part time access course with us and gaining experience at the hospital, Rosie gained a place at the school of midwifery in the university of Chester. Well done Rosie, a double celebration because as well as winning the award on Monday, it was her first day at university. Another example of how, with dedication and commitment, learning can change someone's life and open doors to a whole new profession!
