Many thanks to Tony Boustead and our Hospitality staff team and students for preparing and serving over 200 guests at Wirral Borough Council’s Freedom of the Borough event for the 96 people who lost their lives at the Hillsborough tragedy.
This Civic event provided the highest honour for 96 people who went off to see their team play football and, because of the tragic events that unfolded on that day, were sadly never to return. It was a great privilege for our College to be able to prepare and serve food at this event to their families and friends and my thanks and appreciation go to our students, who were ambassadors for our College and for the industry where they have chosen to develop their careers. Thanks also to my staff team who supported this, whose talent guides our students and whose inspiration provides them with superb role models to help them develop their potential.
Level 1, 2, and 3 Catering and Hospitality students prepared and served the food to guests.
