The Mix Cafe

 

The Students' Union offers a range of trips and social activities to help you make the most of your time at college.

  • Our cafe and restaurant areas provide value for money food and drink, with social space for students to meet up.
  • There are a range of sports and social activities during lunchtime periods.

 

 

We have excellent campuses and facilities

We have invested millions of pounds in our facilities across our Twelve Quays and Conway Park Campuses in Birkenhead, the Oval Campus in Bebington and the multi-million pound Wirral Waters Campus in Wirral Waters, Birkenhead.

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Centre at our Twelve Quays Campus has specialist laboratories, engineering equipment and robotics / mechatronics resources.

Our Logistics and Warehousing Centre provides specialist warehousing facilities including a fork lift truck and fork lift truck simulator machines. 

We also have dedicated study areas and workshops for Prep 4 Life students with complex learning disabilities at our Conway Park Campus.

The Hair & Beauty Academy

 

The Academy salons at the Conway Park Campus provide a full range hairdressing services, and beauty/complementary therapy treatments at very competitive prices.

Our professionally qualified Student Advisers offer a friendly, confidential and welcoming service to help you make the most of your time at college.

Call in to our Conway Park Campus, Europa Boulevard, Birkenhead, to speak to one of our Student Advisers who are available from Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm (all year round), with late opening on Tuesdays (term time only) until 7pm.

Additional Learning Support

The Additional Learning Support team are here to support students to be as successful as possible. We have a team of over 60 highly trained and qualified staff, including Specialist Tutors, Communication Support Workers and Learning Support Assistants.

We work with students in every subject area, and at every level from Entry Level to Higher Education. The students we work with have a wide range of needs, including:

Dyslexia/Dyspraxia ADHD, ADD
Mental Health and Well Being Physical Difficulties
D/deaf or Hard of Hearing Blind or Partially Sighted
Autism Spectrum/Asperger’s Syndrome
