This apprenticeship is designed for applicants who are in paid employment within healthcare support services, to achieve the theory and practical elements of the qualifications which recognise the skills they gain in the workplace.
This course will enable you to understand why people misuse drugs and alcohol, and the effect this has on vulnerable individuals and society as a whole.
If you are 19 or over and returning to study after a break in your education, this course is designed to increase your knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in Health or Social Care. It can offer a progression route to an Access to Higher Education course or other Level 3 courses.
This is a study programme which enables you to develop knowledge and skills for the Health and Social Care sector. You will learn by completing assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations.
