On this course you will cover brickwork, health and safety, storing resources & materials, construction information, quantities, reading drawings and thin joint masonry. It consists of a mixture of practical work and theory.
This apprenticeship is designed for applicants who are in paid employment within Plumbing, to achieve the theory and practical elements of the qualifications which recognise the skills they gain in the workplace.
The course focuses on the essential elements of Computer Aided Draughting and Design using AutoCAD software.
It would also be useful if you wish to update your CAD skills from older versions of AutoCAD or convert your skills from other CAD software.
If you are looking to train as a fully qualified electrician installing in Commercial, Industrial and domestic locations, the City & Guilds 2365 course could be for you. This is now the default qualification for the traditional route to becoming an electrician whether or not you are employed by an electrical contractor. Please note at the end of the course you will have the status of an Electrician's Mate.
