  • National Award /Certificate/ Diploma in Building Studies/Civil Engineering
  • BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma / Diploma / Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment or a related topic area

Where can I progress to?

Employment as a higher technician with a building contractor or in a number of construction related disciplines including architecture, quantity surveying, building surveying and construction management. The HNC is an appropriate entry qualification to a number of construction related degree courses, some of which can be studied on a part-time basis, enabling you to continue with your employment whilst studying.
