This is a level E3 course.

Course outline

This course will provide information on the Home Office regulations for gaining UK citizenship, Leave to Remain and Naturalisation and will help you prepare for the 2 tests you need to take.

Course details

The course will prepare candidates for the B1 IELTS Life Skills (Listening & Speaking Test) and will include preparation on the ten topics and practice activities.

The course will include summary information on the Life in the UK book and identify key topics and provide practice activities.

Entry guidelines

Ideally candidates should be Entry Level 3 or Level 1 already but the teachers will assess every candidate to ensure they are an appropriate level for the Test.

Additional Information

This course can be delivered flexibly over 3 days or a few weeks in the afternoon or evening.

Where can I progress to?

You may be advised to progress onto mainstream ESOL classes at an appropriate level.

Assessment Method

Teacher assessments will be based on the B1 Life Skills and Life in the UK Tests but the actual Tests have to be taken in Manchester.

Equipment Required

A copy of 'Life in the UK' 3rd edition.
