This is a level 2 course.

Course outline

This is an internationally recognised professional course which will give you the skills to excel at a wide range of accounting and finance.

Course details

On the level 2 course you will start to develop your skills in double entry bookkeeping and gain an understanding of management and administrative processes. The qualification is approximately equivalent to GCSE grade A-C.

You will learn about:

  • basic costing principles
  • how to use manual and computerised accounting systems
  • how to work with purchase, sales and general ledgers

Entry guidelines

3 GCSEs with a minimum of C grades in mathematics and English (grade 4 or above) or OCR level 1 Book-keeping.
