Where next?

Students completing the level 2 study programmes move on to higher-level courses, jobs, or apprenticeships. Level 3 students often progress on to jobs or Higher Education; you can also study towards the Foundation Degree in Computer Science at Wirral Met College.

These courses equip students with the skills and knowledge to progress onto occupations including:

IT Support Technicians can earn from between £18,000 to £30,000 per year, depending on their experience and Web Designers can earn around £15,000 to £30,000 per year.


Where are they now?

Andrew Butler

Andrew completed a BTEC level 2 Computing Course and BTEC level 3 programme at Wirral Met. He has progressed onto the Foundation Degree in Computer Science (FCSc) through our partnership with the University of Chester. Andrew was nominated Wirral Met College ‘Student of the Year’ in July 2014 in recognition of his exemplary academic performance.
