Our courses provide you with the skill set you need to succeed in this dynamic industry. You will take part in an exciting study programme that leads to an industry recognised qualification, and includes events and trips as well as valuable work experience within areas of travel, tourism and aviation eg Palma Airport (Majorca).

Many students progress to employment within the travel industry once they have completed their full-time study programmes, and our Level 3 students often progress onto Higher Education programmes such as the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme in Travel and Tourism Management, which we deliver at Wirral Met College.
These courses equip students with the skills and knowledge to progress onto occupations including:

Experienced air traffic controllers can earn between £36,000 and £50,000 per year, experienced air cabin crew can earn between £15,000 and £21,000 per year and senior cabin crew can earn up to £25,000 a year. Airline pilots earn between £38,000 and £90,000 per year, depending on their experience. (Source)
Where are they now?
Connor completed the level 3 BTEC Diploma in Aviation Operations at Wirral Met, and he is currently studying towards a Higher National Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management.
