Traineeships are designed to help young people gain the necessary work skills and experience to progress to an apprenticeship or job. They are a partnership between the employer and the college and involve high quality work experience, a period of work preparation training (developing interpersonal skills, CVs, job search and interview skills), and English and maths.
You will be eligible if you:
- want to get a job (and are not currently in a job) and have limited work experience
- are aged 16-24 and qualified below level 3
- your college and employer/placement provider believe you have a reasonable chance of being ready for employment or an apprenticeship within six months of starting your traineeship.

Wirral Met College Business Admin/Science Industry with the Royal Liverpool Hospital
We are looking for young people who have a genuine inerest in finding out more about the science industry or business admin sector who would like to get their 'foot in the door' and have a chance to impress.
Work preparation training will be given over 5 weeks to develop interpersonal skills and CV writing, job search and interview skills. In addition help with English and maths is also available.
